Further Learning

To gain a strong start in the C Programming Language, I believe that one should follow the syllabus of the average University course in learning C (especially important for Engineering Students, but applicable to anyone).

The typical syllabus for C involves the following topics:

For learning C, I would highly recommend C Programming: Absolute Beginner’s Guide (3rd Edition) by Greg Perry and Dean Miller. I have gone through over 11 different books recommended for C in various University Syllabi, and after careful consideration I have found this one to be the best for beginners.
